Digital Academy for young leaders from Podkarpacie — turning rebellion into responsible action in the public sphere.
About the project
Since 2024 we have been implementing the "Turn Rebellion into Constructive Action" project as part of the Youth Fund of the National Freedom Institute competition. The initiative focuses on supporting youth organizations and preparing young leaders for responsible action in the public sphere.

- Building resources and leadership competencies
- Creating effective action strategies
The key element of the project is the Digital Academy – an educational space that has gathered 22 young leaders from Podkarpacie, developing their skills in community journalism and responsible communication.
What do we teach?
Communication ethics
Respect in public debate, responsible speech and culture of dialogue in online and offline spaces.
Civic values
Understanding civic and democratic values and their role in contemporary society.
Countering disinformation
Recognizing fake news, verifying sources and conscious use of digital media.

The Digital Academy is an investment in conscious leadership – we are building a generation that wants and knows how to act responsibly.

Jakob Kepka – military veteran, Canadian of Polish descent – despite amputation of his leg, undertook a bicycle journey from Krakow to Kyiv (August 2024). His HopeRaising Expedition brought hope to Ukrainian soldiers, accompanied by a fundraiser for prostheses and rehabilitation.
