In 2022 and 2023 Fundacja Q ran a wide range of activities for refugees from Ukraine and border volunteers – from IOM financial aid and a helpline to psychological support, professional training, and community campaigns.

As part of our support efforts, we donated laptops to people and institutions assisting refugees from Ukraine.
The equipment was prepared, packed, and handed over in cooperation with local partners. Below is an archival gallery from these deliveries.
Together with the International Organization for Migration (IOM / MOM), in 2022 we implemented a financial support project for people forced to leave Ukraine due to war.
The project included financial support for refugees from Ukraine and activities delivered both through stationary offices and mobile teams across several regions.
Support included participant registration and eligibility verification. Payments were made via MoneyGram and bank transfers.
In 2022 the registration limit was reached, available funds for that year were exhausted, registration was closed, and the project ended.
The Q Helpline provided information support for people from Ukraine and guided them to relevant forms of assistance. It ended on 8 May 2023.

Alongside the main projects, Fundacja Q carried out a number of complementary initiatives and social campaigns.
An online platform connecting psychologists with volunteers who needed psychological support. People working pro publico bono on the front line of the crisis at the eastern border were highly exposed to trauma. We offered free online help from qualified psychologists and psychotherapists.
Electricity and heat for refugees in Ukraine plus psychological support for volunteers at border crossings – funded by the PKO Bank Polski Foundation, run with the National Freedom Institute and Solidarity Corps. Tents with power generators and heaters; psychological support points at logistics centres staffed by qualified specialists.
"Turn e-waste into cash for children" – a pilot e-waste collection drive in the gmina of Nowa Dęba with national scale potential. Helping others while decluttering.
Training for groups of 10 refugees covering social media and digital skills, with a Ukrainian interpreter. Programme: official portals (ePUAP), official correspondence, publications and graphic materials, basic design software, and photo editing – skills enabling new employment opportunities.
A coordination platform bringing together NGOs from Podkarpacie involved in refugee aid. We coordinated activities, provided information and promotion support, and maintained the positive social energy and motivation of all members.
Training and workshops on recognising disinformation and safe use of social media. The programme covered fact-checking tools, creating reliable content, and responsible use of digital technology.
On the Facebook group "Culture in Quarantine" (100k+ members), artworks were auctioned and proceeds donated to NGOs supporting refugees. Artists donated their work for free. Fundacja Q also actively promoted artistic events organised in support of neighbours from the East.
