About the book
The publication explores the life of Józef Jadach — a man deeply connected with the traditions of the Lasowiak region, whose childhood and youth were shaped by rural work, community life and the shadow of occupation.
This is a story without pathos. Instead of grand politics, we get a world seen from within: the rhythm of the seasons, neighbours, duties, small joys and minor dramas. The edition was prepared so the author's voice rings as close as possible — clearly and with respect for the original, in a form that does not overwhelm but lets the words resonate.
