WARKOT #26 | We are part of the Monitoring Committee for the European Funds for Podkarpackie 2021-2027 programme
We are pleased to announce that Fundacja Q has been selected to join the Monitoring Committee for the European Funds for Podkarpackie 2021-2027 programme. Our organization will be responsible for matters concerning entities that represent civil society. Thank you for this tremendous trust and for recognizing our work in this field. It is both an important role and a serious responsibility.
Between 2021 and 2027, Poland will receive approximately PLN 348 billion from European Funds. It is therefore essential that the distribution of such a large amount of public money is subject to proper social oversight.
The Monitoring Committee was established by Resolution No. 453/9346/23 of the Board of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship in Rzeszow on 12 January 2023. The Committee is chaired by the Marshal of the Podkarpackie Voivodeship.
At present, the Committee has 74 members. In addition, under Article 39(2) of Regulation (EU) 2021/1060 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 24 June 2021, the European Commission takes part in the Committee’s work in a monitoring and advisory capacity.
