Spice Gears Academy at the Rozalin school

This time we wanted to devote the whole issue of Warkot to Spice Gears Academy, because there is a lot to say. Spice Gears Academy will lead workshops here on 5 December, during International Volunteer Day. We are accepting registrations for two groups, at 14:00 and 15:30. Places are limited to a maximum of 20 people per group, and registration is first come, first served.

These are not the only workshops we have prepared. We are planning many more attractions, so take a look at the event: Volunteer Day - We Power People Into Action

ROBOTICS IS THE FUTURE!

Spice Gears is the first Polish FIRST Robotics Competition team, founded in 2015 in Krasnik. It brings together young people with broad interests in mechanics, electronics, computer science, programming, and robotics. Their commitment and ambition have made them pioneers of youth robotics in Central and Eastern Europe, and the team has repeatedly shown that it can win against the best teams in the world.

As Maciej Zajkowski, a collaborator of the National Centre for Research and Development, says: Spice Gears Academy in Poland was created by passionate young people, some of whom he once taught himself. They have knowledge and potential, but also an amazing approach to children and young people. Their strength grew out of searching for what was missing when they themselves were children - smart, modern tools and toys limited only by imagination.

THE WORLD OF TECHNOLOGY AND ROBOTICS IS WAITING FOR YOU!

Robotics is a future-oriented path for your child, and our mission is to share the idea of STEAM, combining science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics. Only a coherent combination of these fields allows children and young people to find solutions even in difficult situations and to release a unique synergy.

Graduates of the programme are already benefiting from these skills. In Poland they cooperate with major companies such as Asseco, and internationally some FIRST alumni work for giants like Google and NASA. Graduates also create scientific clubs at top universities across Poland.

We offer a complete learning system based on four levels of development. Through participation in competitions, we stimulate continuous growth in the skills most valued by large international companies. Learning in the STEAM spirit brings surprisingly strong results, including easier problem-solving, better preparation for adult life, the ability to run a company, and the confidence to build a strong position in a team. It also develops self-confidence, openness to other people’s opinions, negotiation, time management, patience, creativity, and memory.
