What is happening at the Rozalin school?

Autumn is already outside: rain, cold weather, and the temptation to stay under a blanket with a hot cup of tea. We are coming to the rescue. We will not let you sleep through this autumn.

This month, MAK - Mala Akcja Komiksowa (Small Comic Action) starts. On 17 October we invite you to the first meeting, where you will meet many comic enthusiasts. Join the event here: https://www.facebook.com/events/527175484525061/

For the next several months, at the New Technologies Lab, we will run free classes on digital skills. We can tailor the sessions to your needs. Training will be held on desktop computers, laptops, and smartphones. Registration is still open. Join us and learn how to use a computer, the internet, and Google tools more effectively. This month we are also starting to accept applications for a free foreign-language course. To take part, you need to live in the Podkarpackie region and be at least 25 years old. Recruitment lasts until 15 October, with places assigned in order of applications.

Total training hours: 120 (four lesson hours per day, two to three times a week).

Besides language-course recruitment, we are also recruiting for the fully free Step onto the Path of Success project: https://www.facebook.com/events/1394216500731877/. We are launching training for office workers with a specialization in e-marketing and social media.

The project is aimed at people who:

• are aged 15-29,
• are employed (employment contract, mandate contract, contract for specific work, etc.),
• live in the Podkarpackie region,
• earn no more than the minimum national wage in the month before joining the project.

Recently, we also had the pleasure of welcoming many school trips to the Museum of Stories. In addition to seeing the exhibition, participants took part in comic or photography workshops, as well as outdoor games and a bonfire.

Last Saturday we held Linocut in Practice art workshops led by Dominik Mlodziad Rolek. He creates amazing things, including T-shirts, and also tells stories about the Lasowiaks. The workshops were perfect for both younger and older participants.

We can also reveal that recurring exhibitions will soon begin appearing regularly at the Museum of Stories. More information coming soon, so keep following us.
