What is happening at the Rozalin school?

Summer at the Museum of Stories has been very intense. QLtura Fest is in full swing. We have already held two literary meetings with Tomasz Rabsztyn and Janusz Radwanski as our guests. On 6 August there will be another literary meeting, this time with Wojciech Bonowicz, and we are very happy that he accepted our invitation.

But QLtura Fest is not only about meetings with poets and writers. It also includes live music in our coworking space. We can already invite you to two concerts planned for the near future.

The first one will take place on 11 August at 19:00, when ZOLC will play for us. ZOLC is an electronic duo from Tarnobrzeg formed by Arek Stoklosa and Martyna Gawlik. They describe their genre as TUPANKOCHILL - a mix of electronic intensity and Polish lyrics, subtlety and wildness, authenticity and imagined creation. The second concert evening will take place on 13 September at 20:00 with Henry No Hurry. Henry No Hurry is the solo project of Wawrzyniec Dabrowski. His songs move between singer-songwriter and indie-folk. The project is partly musical, partly travel-related, and partly literary, and since 2017 it has toured more than 100 venues in several countries. Last Saturday, the museum was visited by a very interesting group: the Polish Dance Ensemble SPK ISKRY from Winnipeg, Canada, and the Song and Dance Ensemble Ojczyzna from Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Our guests were welcomed by Bielowianie, and after touring the museum they were treated to homemade cake prepared by the ladies from the group.

Bielowianki also taught our guests some of their songs, and they sang them together.

We are very happy with our cooperation so far with the Bielowianie ensemble, and we are already preparing more initiatives together. We took part together in Folkowisko, where they played a great concert, and soon the museum will host a charity event we are preparing together with them: Charity Feast with Bielowianki.
