2nd Edition of the Recycling Supports Campaign - Summary
The second edition of the Recycling Supports campaign has come to an end. It is time to sum up our activities.
Between 6 and 9 March 2023, an e-waste collection took place in the Nowa Deba commune. We would like to warmly thank everyone, including residents, volunteers, and institutions, who took part, donated used equipment, supported Wiktoria Szpyt, and helped clean up our environment.
More and more old and unused devices are piling up in basements, attics, and other forgotten corners of homes, or worse, being dumped in places such as forests and polluting the environment. That is why it is so important for e-waste to reach the right place and be properly recycled.
The second edition of the Recycling Supports campaign aimed to protect the environment and reduce the dumping of electrical equipment in unsuitable places. We managed to complete 6 transports.
This year’s campaign also aimed to support a family from the local community of Nowa Deba and the surrounding area. Funds raised through the initiative were donated to 4-year-old Wiktoria Szpyt, who lives with cerebral palsy, microcephaly, trigonocephaly, epilepsy, multiple congenital defects, and delayed psychomotor development. Together, we cared for the environment and added a real good deed to our everyday lives by helping in the fight for Wiktoria’s health.
