Thanks to the support we received under the Program “It’s Worth Being a Social Enterprise!” for 2023-2025, Edition 2024, we could operate even better as a social enterprise, also within Food Truck Kuchnia z Sercem.

Program “It’s Worth Being a Social Enterprise!” for 2023-2025

We are pleased to inform you that we implemented activities under the Program “It’s Worth Being a Social Enterprise!” for 2023-2025. This is a ministerial program of the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy, the aim of which is to financially support the development of social entrepreneurship. The program, previously known as “Social Enterprise +”, opens new opportunities for social economy entities, enabling them to implement important initiatives supporting the local community.

Use of funds in 2024

Thanks to the support obtained from the Program, we implemented a number of activities in three main areas:

1. Employment support

Under this task, salaries for four Fundacja Q employees were financed from January to December 2024. The funds obtained allowed us to ensure employment stability and implement our social activities.

2. Support for social services implementation

Funds from the Program enabled the implementation of several key initiatives:

• **Purchase of equipment for educational-cultural activities:**
  • A project was implemented and a covered stage was built at the Civic Assistance Center in Tarnowska Wola. This stage enables the organization of events such as workshops, concerts, or lectures, regardless of weather. In 2024, events held there included the Wędrowiec Festival, the Gathering of Vehicles with Dezamet Engines, and culinary and artistic workshops.
• **Purchase of equipment for gastronomic activities:**
  • A shelter was built in front of the food truck, which serves soldiers and employees at a nearby military training ground. The shelter provides comfort to customers when using our gastronomic services.
• **Employee training:**
  • A cycle of four training sessions was conducted. The training covered interpersonal communication, social media management, digital competencies, and gastronomy and customer service standards. As a result, the skills of our employees in key areas of operation were improved.
• **Employee courses:**
  • Four courses were organized, covering project management, work psychology, first aid, and gastronomy logistics. These courses contributed to improved work organization, increased efficiency, and raised customer service standards.

3. Ongoing support

Ongoing support enabled the financing of key operational activities:

• **Accounting costs:** Accounting services and financial consultations were paid for.
• **Activity promotion:** Advertising materials were created, a promotional concert was organized during the Cieszanów Rock Festival, and materials promoting our foundation and food truck were prepared.
• **Office maintenance:** Office and chemical supplies were purchased, ensuring smooth office operation.
• **Media costs coverage**.

Summary

Activities implemented under the Program “It’s Worth Being a Social Enterprise!” for 2023-2025 significantly impacted the development of our activities and the local community. Thanks to the funds obtained, we were able to implement ambitious projects, raise standards of our services, and support the development of our employees. We thank the Ministry of Family, Labour and Social Policy for the support and the opportunity to further develop social entrepreneurship!
