In spring 2020, when theatres and concert halls closed, we made a place where artists and audiences could still meet — online.

When the theatres closed, culture moved online
Our mission: connect every cultural event on the network!
March 2020. Concerts were cancelled, theatres, cinemas and cultural centres closed — culture went underground, or rather online. Together with Stowarzyszenie Folkowisko we decided it would not disappear: it would move to where all of us were stuck.
That is how the group and the “Kultura w kwarantannie” page came to be — a place where artists, cultural centres and amateur makers posted their live-streamed concerts, performances and exhibitions, and audiences could find them all in one place.

A historian-archivist and Ukrainian-studies scholar by training, a cultural animator by passion. Co-organiser of the Folkowisko Festival.
Marcin Kurnik

Animator, trainer and mediator. Co-creator of the Museum of Stories and the coworking space in Rozalin. Organiser of, among others, City NGO, Festiwal Opowieści, QlturaFest, Wędrowiec and Punkt Not Zgred. Author of the handbooks “ABeCaDło Wolontariusza” and the book “Inspiracje Miłości”. Father of five children.

Marcin Piotrowski
Event coordination
Sociologist, cultural animator, journalist and a specialist in marketing small towns. Director of the Folkowisko Festival (a distinction from the Polish Tourism Organisation in 2018). Creator of the campaigns “Jestem ze wsi” and “Globalna Baba”. In 2016 he received the title “Outstanding Pole” in Ireland. Councillor of Lubaczów county.

Moderation and technical support of the live streams
DJ and radio journalist (Akademickie Radio Kampus) with more than 25 years of experience. He presents world music, reggae and Jungle and D’n’B. Author of a Streamyard tutorial.

Daria Kuszlik
Moderator of the Facebook group
A licensed journalist, she ran the social media of the Folkowisko Festival. For more than a year she was a proofreader and press journalist at the monthly Nad Brusienką. She co-created the independent theatre Teatr KX.

A political-science student, a member of Stowarzyszenie Folkowisko, a cultural activist. Privately he loves travel, good food and music.
