COP Strażnica

A place for people who want to act locally

The NGO Centre “Strażnica” (Centrum Organizacji Pozarządowych) is a space for cooperation, development and support for civic organisations, informal groups, volunteers, local leaders and residents who want to do something good for their community.

We particularly support people and organisations working in the Municipality of Nowa Dęba or for its residents.

Who is Strażnica for?

The COP offer is open to:

  • non-governmental organisations
  • informal groups
  • volunteers and local leaders
  • people planning to set up an organisation
  • residents taking up community initiatives
  • representatives of institutions that work with the civic sector

Space to act

  • training room
  • consultation space
  • podcast studio

Using the rooms requires a prior reservation and confirmation of the date by Fundacja Q.

How can we help?

  • Advice and consultations

    We support organisations in organisational, project, legal, accounting, promotional and fundraising matters, among others. The scope of support depends on the current COP programme, available specialists and organisational capacity.

  • Projects and funding

    We help look for funding sources, prepare applications, plan activities and organise the documentation needed to deliver and account for projects.

  • Training and development

    We organise training, workshops and meetings that develop the competences of organisations, leaders, teams and volunteers.

  • Support for new initiatives

    We help informal groups and people who have an idea for local action but do not yet know where to start. Together we can organise the idea, set the next steps and look for partners.

  • Volunteering and cooperation

    We develop local volunteering, promote civic activity and create space for cooperation between NGOs, local government, institutions and business. We want local organisations not to work in isolation, but to form a lasting network of mutual support.

  • Address and mailbox for organisations

    After a separate agreement, an organisation may use the COP address. Detailed terms are agreed directly with Fundacja Q.
