The “Action Activation” project was created as a response to the need to support refugees from Ukraine in their social and professional integration in Poland. Thanks to the funds from the Here Fund organized by Ashoka, it was possible to combine Polish language courses, psychological support, mentoring and integration activities into one coherent program.
The project involved mainly people aged 50+, women caring for grandchildren and mothers of small children - groups that, after coming to Poland, particularly often encounter adaptation, communication and professional barriers. Project activities served to build lasting relationships between communities and create a support model that could be used in subsequent integration projects.
